Events in Mostoles

WEDNESDAY 25TH
Everyone arrived safely in Móstoles. The host families met the visiting
groups and we all made new friends.
THURSDAY 26TH
Thursday was sunny and we were able to visit the Los Rosales sports centre.
The children split into five groups and played basketball, football,
tennis, badminton and climbing. After a wonderful lunch of paella the
children of Leon Felipe school welcomed everyone with some music and
songs.
In the evening there was singing and dancing in the Leon
Felipe school.
FRIDAY 27TH
We all gathered at the Enrique
Tierno Galvan school and the headteacher
and director of education made a speech and presented gifts to the visiting
schools. The pupils entertained with a dance. Then we went to the park
and split into 10 groups. Each school demonstrated one of their sports.
SATURDAY 28TH
The visitors and some of the host families went to Madrid. It was
very warm. Some groups started in the Prado
Museum, others went to the Royal
Palace. We had a wonderful day.
