News from Pogosta School, Ilomantsi - September 2007
We started on August 13th in the renovated building. There will be more equipment on the playground later. The school looks news inside. We are looking forward to hosting our guests in February.
On Sep 7 we had athletics competitions. These pictures are from years 5 and 6. The sports were 60m, long jump, shot put and for smaller ones throwing the ball instead of shot put. The three best qualified to the competition of all primary schools in Ilomantsi.
On Sep 21 there was a kyykkä tournament of all primary school in Ilomantsi. Now there are only four of them. Two small schools were closed down this year. The winner was this time Iknonvaara School.
