The first Sunday of October is traditionally dedicated to long-distance runners from all over the world. The International Marathon of Peace is held in Kosice annually and it is the oldest one in Europe (established in 1924). Over the years it has become one of the most popular events in our town.

Students and pupils of our city are very fond of long-distance runs. The Minimarathon in different categories took place in the streets of Kosice, too. Our school was represented by Jana Astrabova (7th place), Lucia Bodnarova (10th place), Patrik Füzesi, Marianna Kovacova and Ivana Tomaskova. The younger students ran 1 km, the older 1.5 km.

This tradition has not been forgotten amongst our youngest generation of pupils of our school.

The most favourite activity in autumn is kites. Our pupils made their kites themselves and competed with the others
