Information bulletin from Pogosta
School
The school began in mid August. In P.E. lessons we had among other things
athletics. The school competition was held in September. Most pupils took
part into the competition. Those who didn’t walked about five kilometres.
The best pupils in each year took part in the competition of all the schools
of the Ilomantsi municipality. There are seven smaller schools in Ilomantsi
municipality.
We have also played Finnish baseball.
The games in athletics were long jump, 60 m run, 400 m, shot put and throwing
the ball for smaller ones.
In September there was also the kyykkä cup for all the primary schools
in Ilomantsi. This year the team of our school won the cup for the first

If the weather is not good, we are in the gym and play for example floor
ball.
We are expecting snow any time.
After school there are floor ball clubs for different ages.
