Over the past four weeks 18 Year 5's have been training to become young leaders. As part of the training we've discussed the health and safety issues and how to be firm but fair. A few weeks ago we chose partners and together we had to learn a new game then later we set up our game on the playground. Group by group children came round to learn all sorts of different games. As we were teaching we were using all the techniques that we had learned from our sports teacher, Mrs Morley.

When we are on the playground we will be teaching younger children games such as chasing games, competitive games and quiet games. On Friday 30th March we received our young leader awards and our new caps which we will wear when we are on duty.
